This municipality shares with Breña Baja, the large and fertile Valle de las Breñas and limits to the north with Santa Cruz de La Palma, to the south with Breña Baja and to the west with El Paso. Its main characteristic is a landscape of great beauty and its good geo-morphological and weather conditions.
As regards the economic activities developed, banana, avocado and cereal crops stand out, such as wheat and barley. Likewise, since a long time ago, tobacco is one of the typical crops in the area, turning cigars into one of the most appreciated crops in Canary Islands.
How to reach Breña Alta:
The place may be simply approached through LP-3 Road, which crosses the municipality transversally.San Pedro main core may be accessed through LP-202 Road, whilst San Isidro and Las Ledas may be approached through LP-301.
