Cubo de La Galga
Cubo de La Galga is composed by a beautiful millenary laurel forest, which forest mass is one of the best found in Canary Islands, due the great number of fountains and springs. In this green and marvelous forest you may find any variety of laurel species in the wooden areas of La Palma mounts: Persea indica, Ilex canariensis, Apollonias barbujana and laurels; blending with millenary ferns and tiles. As long as the path goes into the ravine, the humidity increases. In fact, you may cross under a fresh water channel, carrying it to be used for agriculture and public supply.
